Steamed Vegetable Medley Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup carrot, diagonally sliced

2 cups cauliflower florets

1 ½ tablespoons margarine

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 medium red onion, sliced in ring form

¼ teaspoon dried and crushed basil

¼ teaspoon dried and crushed marjoram

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

1.    Combine carrots, onion and cauliflower in a steamer basket

2.    Cover and steam for 10 minutes in a boiling water

3.    Add mushrooms and stem further for 5 minutes until the veggies become tender.

4.    Melt margarine and  add

5.    Add basic, marjoram and lemon juice

6.    Start serving by placing the veggies in a serving bowl.  Pour lemon mixture over the veggies and toss for nice coating.

 

Tip:

·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of servings.
