Easy Recipe for Baked Fish

Prep Time:  15 minutes

Bake Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 4 servings



1 pound tilapia fillet

1 tablespoon brown or honey mustard

½ teaspoon vinegar

¼ cup milk

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ cup cornmeal

½ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Lemon wedge for garnishing



·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of serving targeted.



1.    Mix mustard, vinegar and milk in a large blow. Set aside for 15 minutes. You’ll be using the mixture to coat the fish later on.

2.    Use another bowl to mix cornmeal with all other seasonings.

3.    Dip the fish fillets in the milk mixture and also in the cornmeal mixture

4.    Use a cooking spray on a broiling pan and brush the pan with olive oil.

5.    Place the fillets on the pan then place under broiler 4 inches off the heat.

6.    Broil for 4 minutes on each side until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

7.    Start serving with lemon wedges as you desire.
