Easy Poached Fish Recipe

We love following poached fish recipe every weekend. We also use it during the holidays. It’s very quick and simple. Everyone in our family likes taking the delicacy. I’m sure you’ll include it as one of your favorites.

The poached fish can be prepared with salmon, tuna, cod or any other type of seafood. There are also other simple ingredients required. You can maintain sound health when you take the delicacy on regular basis. Salmon is used for the recipe described below:

 

Prep Time:  15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

 

Ingredients:

4 salmon steaks

½ teaspoon dill weed

¾ cup chicken broth

1 cup water

2 tablespoon butter

1 garlic clove, minced

¼ cup chopped onion

½ teaspoon dried tarragon

½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes

½ teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

 

For the Sauce

2 tablespoon green onions, chopped

¼ cup plain yogurt

½ cup chopped zucchini

¼ cup Mayonnaise

 

 

Tip:

·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of servings targeted.

 

Directions:

1.    Use a large skillet to fry garlic and onion gently in butter

2.    Add broth, water and seasonings.

3.    Add salmon

4.    Bring to a boil, reduce heat

5.    Cover and simmer for 25 minutes or less until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

6.    Get the sauce prepared by combining all the recommended ingredients in a small bowl.

7.    Serve the salmon dish with the hot sauce.
