Quick Fish Cake Recipe

Yield:  6 servings



1 pound flaked fish

3 beaten eggs

1 cup soft bread crumbs

2 tablespoons Mayonnaise

1 medium chopped onion

2 – 4 tablespoons water

1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

2 tablespoon vegetable oil

¾ teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoon ground mustard

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes




·       The fish can be of any quality type such as cod, ocean perch, flounder, haddock, red-snapper  and so on

·       The Mayonnaise can be of any quality brand.

·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of serving targeted.

·       Include lemon wedges and Tartar sauce  if desired 



1.    Use a large bowl to combine all the ingredients excluding Italian bread crumbs. Make sure, you mix them well.

2.    Shape the mixture into 12 patties

3.    Add more water if needed.

4.    Coat the  patties with Italian bread crumbs

5.    Use a large skillet to cook the patties in oil for 5 minutes or less on each side. Keep cooking until they turn lightly brown.

6.    Start serving immediately. Serve with lemon wedges or Tartar sauce if desired.
