Easy Potato Soup Recipe

1 big potato

¼ cup chopped onion

¼ cup chopped celery with the leaves

¼ or ½ cup milk or cream 


1. Peel the potato and cube it

2. Put the cubes in a saucepan

3. Add celery and onions

4Add water, don’t allow water to cover the vegetables

5.  Allow to boil but make sure you lower heat

6. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes until the vegetables become very tender

7.    Mash the potato  coarsely

8.    Add cream or milk as you desire

9.  Add pepper and salt to taste
