Luscious Deep Fried Fish Recipe

Deep fried fish recipe is good for healthy living. It’s highly recommended to everyone who desires to eat healthy. The ingredient is very easy to come by. You can also understand the cooking guideline given.

The deep fried fish can be prepared with Tilapia. You can also use salmon, cod, haddock, or any other type of seafood product to get it ready. You can prepare a healthy delicacy by following the directions given below:


Prep Time:  15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 4 servings



4 tilapia fillets

1 ½ cup seasoned flour

1 quart cooking oil



·       Aside from Tilapia, you can any  other quality  fillet type such as trout, haddock, salmon, tuna, whitefish and so on

·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of serving targeted.


1.    Heat the cooking oil at 375oF in 4 or 3 quart pan.

2.    Dry and thaw the fish fillets in flour. Shake off excess flour and allow the fillets to sit on a rack or on wax paper for 10 minutes or less.

3.    Roll the fillets in flour again and shake off excess flour as usual.

4.    Deep fry the fillets 2 at a time or less. You have to avoid frying more than 2 fillets since this can make the fish soggy and also turn the oil temperature down.

5.    Turn the fillets once in the pan and then remove when they become golden brown. By this time, they should be done. 

6.    Drain each fillet on paper towel for some seconds.

7.    Start serving.
