Tasty Broiled Fish Recipe

You can eat healthy by following a simple broiled fish recipe. The delicacy prepared out of it is always tasty and delicious. You can maintain sound health by taking it often.

The broiled fish can be prepared with cod. You can also use salmon, trout, tilapia, haddock or any other seafood product. The delicacy can serve as a tasteful snack or dessert. It’s also diabetic friendly. It’s highly recommended to all diabetic patients. Given below is the simple recipe:


Prep Time:  10 minutes

Marinating Broil Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 2 servings



2 cod fillets, 6 ounces each

2 teaspoons butter

½ teaspoon sugar

¼ cup Italian salad dressing (fat-free)

Salt, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, curry powder, 1/8 teaspoon for each



Aside from cod, the fish fillets can be of any quality type such as trout, haddock, salmon, tilapia, whitefish, and so on

·       The amount of ingredients increases or decreases depending on the number of serving targeted.



1.    Use a big re-sealable plastic bag to mix sugar, dressings and seasonings. 

2.    Add fish and seal the bag

3.    Turn to coat

4.    Refrigerate for 30 minutes or less

5.    Drain and discard marinade

6.    Place the fillets on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray

7.    Broil 3 – 4 inch from the heat for about 12 minutes or less. Keep broiling until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

8.    Place 1 teaspoon butter on each fillet. Allow to stand until it melts.

9.    Start serving.
