½ pound bulk pork sausage

2 slices bread

3 eggs

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

½ teaspoon ground mustard

1/8 teaspoon pepper


1. Remove all crusts from bread and cut the bread into 1 inch cubes.

2. Place the cubes in an 8 inch greased square baking dish.

3. Brown the sausage in a small skillet and keep it over medium heat until it’s no longer pink, then drain it.

4. Sprinkle the cheese and sausage over the bread cubes.

5. Whisk the eggs, mustard, milk, pepper and salt in a small bowl.

6. Pour the mixture over the cheese and sausage.

7. Bake at 350 oF for about 30 minutes or until the egg casserole turns golden or puffed
