20 chicken wing drummettes
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
Salt and ground red pepper flakes to taste
Zest of one lemon
1 tablespoon finely chopped Italian parsley
1. Season chicken wings with garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes and fennel seeds.
2. Coat with olive oil and place in oven-proof baking dish.
3. Bake in pre-heated oven turning halfway to brown on both sides.
4. Remove from oven, add lemon zest and chopped Italian parsley and toss to coat.
Tips: You can substitute the red pepper flakes with black pepper or cayenne pepper.
Instead of using lemon zest you can use fresh squeezed lemon juice.
